Proactive provides services for athletes of all levels, ages, and rehabilitative stages. We offer a training environment that is professional, innovative, friendly, and designed to meet the diverse performance needs of our clients. Whether you are a professional athlete or weekend warrior, we are committed to your success, however defined. Proactive Sports Performance, LLC ("Proactive") is a unique state of the art performance institute that integrates unparalleled sports performance training with rehabilitative services in a single facility. The executive director of Proactive is Ryan Capretta (MS, CSCS), a strength and conditioning coach with over seven years experience at the professional and collegiate levels, including stints with Stanford University Arizona Cardinals and the Baltimore Ravens during their Super Bowl Championship season. Proactive is based on proven methods that are utilized by professional and collegiate sports teams for their individual athletes. Based on physiological fact, the latest literature available, and years of experience, these methods are the most intelligent and efficient way to train.

PROACTIVE SPORTS TRAINING PROGRAMS

Professional Athlete Training Program

 

Olympians. Probowl NFL players. NBA & MLB players. Wimbledon Champion tennis players. We have trained them all. Using our experience training professional athletes from many different sports, we will tailor a program to address the specific needs of any individual athlete. Through a total body assessment, all weaknesses and imbalances will be corrected to facilitate optimum level performance. What are you capable of?

College Athlete Training Program

 

Through years of applying strength & conditioning programs to virtually every collegiate sport possible, our staff has the knowledge and experience to administer sport specific programs for every athlete. Our program will facilitate the development of your physical attributes, thereby maximizing your athletic potential. Whether you are home for winter or summer break or permanently in the area, we will devise a program specific to your needs and timetable. The following is a sample of the many sports we have been involved with: football, baseball, basketball, volleyball, track and field, cross country, soccer, rugby, swimming, water polo, golf, tennis, gymnastics, lacrosse, etc.

 


NFL Combine Training Program

 

Proactive Sport Performance is one of the only institutions in the United States with a former NFL Strength Coach as Executive Director of Performance. Proactive will deliver unparalleled combinespecific training and sportspecific improvement. We start with an indepth assessment and tailor a specific protocol for your individual needs. Our program replicates every drill you will perform in Indianapolis, including the 40 yard dash, 225lb bench press, vertical jump, broad jump, 20 yard shuttle, 3 cone drill, 60 yard shuttle, and position drills. We also provide instruction on how to master the team interviews, as well as the wonderlic test. With every NFL coach, GM, and scout watching your every move, it is our job to provide you with the confidence needed to perform every drill to the best of your capability. As you are probably aware, there has been a recent trend of rookies getting injured during post draft minicamps. This is primarily due to a lack of direct preparation for strenuous movements and activities that mimic the actual game of football. That is why it is so important to train at Proactive Sport Performance, one of the only institutions in the United States with a former NFL Strength Coach as Executive Director of Performance. You will also have access to a chiropractic sports physician and athletic trainer with NFL experience in the same facility in which we train. Relying on numerous years training professional athletes in the NFL, Proactive will provide specific insight on how to excel on an NFL roster.

High School Training Program

 

This program is designed to give the athlete a comprehensive training approach, which includes building a foundation of strength, speed, agility, and flexibility. The athlete will be educated on training safety and the importance of a balanced program. All areas of athletic performance will be emphasized; no one area will be compromised. After administering a full body assessment, we will devise an individual performance program tailored to your specific needs. The following is a sample of the many sports we have been involved with: football, baseball, basketball, volleyball, track and field, cross country, soccer, rugby, swimming, water polo, golf, tennis, gymnastics, lacrosse, etc.

 


High School Combine Training Program

 

For high school athletes looking to obtain a scholarship, doing well at a high school "combine" can be a major eye opener for a college recruiter. We will provide the same quality service our college athletes receive when preparing for the professional combine held in Indianapolis.


Junior/Youth Training Program

 

We take a systematic approach when training youth athletes in order to develop proper body position and skill development. We will provide the young athlete with an edge over the competition by increasing motor skill development. The junior athlete will be taught the most efficient linear & multidirectional running techniques with specific emphasis on balance and neuromuscular coordination.

Sport Specific Training

 

Our specific regimens utilize appropriate exercise time, intensity, and rest intervals to develop each aspect of athletic excellence. Speed will be addressed pursuant to the specific demands of the sport. Some sports and positions require more straight ahead, topend speed, whereas other sports require a focus on multidirectional acceleration. By recognizing that strength, power, and endurance are interrelated, we can manipulate a training program to best fit the demand of your specific sport. Golf Core & Conditioning Program

 

Our golfspecific training system was designed by a former Stanford Golf Strength & Conditioning Specialist. This time tested program has helped golfers of all ages improve their driving power and rotational flexibility, while also reducing the chance of injury.

Flexibility Training Program

 

Flexibility is a term used to define joint mobility and range of motion. Flexibility allows efficiency of movement to perform skills more effectively, thereby decreasing susceptibility to injury. This program is open to anyone looking to gain flexibility in any setting. We use the most current and intelligent methods to gain flexibility in every joint of the body.

Adult Boot Camp

 

This workout session offers individual attention in a friendly group setting. Although it is a small group setting, each person will have their own individual workout to maximize results.

Women's Fitness Training

 

This workout session is only open to women, and is a friendly small group setting that provides individual attention. The focus will be on toning and the development of leaner muscles, which will increase the body's ability to burn fat more efficiently.

Team Training

We will administer a comprehensive testing and training program for an entire team either at our facility or at your practice field/court. With years of experience training championship teams, your team can gain the advantage over the competition by utilizing group sessions supervised by professional coaches. Our team training is available to youth, high school, collegiate, recreational, and professional teams.

Celebrity Sessions

Whether you are trying to gain 30 pounds of muscle for a movie or lose weight and tone up for a magazine shoot, Proactive can design a personal program to meet your specific needs. Many years of experience training the best athletes in the world have allowed us to develop a highly efficient, scientificallybased workout model that is flexible enough to meet your goals.
